Jeffrey “The Legend” Bosanac, 68, of Crooked Lake, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022. Jeff was born on May 24, 1954, to the late Milan Jr. and June (Masch) Bosanac in Milwaukee. He worked at Pawling and Harnischfeger in Milwaukee as a machine operator. Jeff then owned a bar, Jeff’s Black Duck, in Muskego near Big Muskego Lake for around 15 years. He could always be found on the water, whether at Big Muskego Lake or Crooked Lake.
Jeff was very passionate about fishing and duck hunting. His nickname “The Legend” stems from his many exploits and passed down to his son, Jason, and granddaughter, Gracie. Jeff moved to Crooked Lake permanently in 2000 and became the “Dump Master.” He was a big jokester, often lovingly using his family as the butt of his jokes. Jeff loved the outdoors and animals. All of his hunting and fishing stories will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Jeffrey is survived by his children, Jason (Lori Noonan) Bosanac and Tracy Bosanac; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Germaine “Geri” Hammer; son, Devin Mollica; and brother, Dennis Bosanac.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Dates will be announced at a later time.
