Jean M. Robenhorst, 90, of Breed, passed away on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022. She was born Nov. 30, 1931, to the late John and Gertrude (Gardebrecht) Kebschull. Jean Kebschull married Herbert Robenhorst in 1948. Jean and Herbert worked on the home farm, and she also worked at Coleman Products. Jean enjoyed baking, and would always make a meal for anyone that came over. She also enjoyed canning, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Breed.
Jean is survived by her two sons, Ray (Phyllis) Robenhorst and Richard (Jane) Robenhorst; nine grandchildren, Ray (Leah) Robenhorst, Neil Robenhorst, Chad (Jon Schroeder) Robenhorst, Crystal Haig’s, Heather Winters, Tony (Tina) Frye, Sarah Frye, Steve (Rona) Smith and Paul Smith; nine great-grandchildren, Easton, Miranda, Izac, Kayla, Taylor, Logan, Alexis, Remi and Jesse; and a great-great-grandson, Wesley Hayes Lafond. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; three children, Jim, Tom and Jeff; and three siblings, Myrtle Penkoske, Lois Scott and Ervin Kebschull.
Visitation will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Breed on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Michael Paholke officiating. Jean will be laid to rest next to her husband in Breed Union Cemetery.
