Charles D. “Chuck” Schill Jr., 79, of Shawano, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022. Charles was born in Milwaukee on Dec. 24, 1942, son of the late Charles “Carl” and Elenore (Stasiewski) Schill Sr. On Feb. 13, 1965, Chuck was united in marriage to Margaret A. Brauer at Zion Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
Chuck worked as a meat cutter for numerous grocers in Milwaukee and then in Shawano and the surrounding area. He also owned and operated Hiawatha Lodge from 1979 until 1984. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and Packers and Badgers football.
Chuck is survived by his children, Daniel Schill, Mark (Felicia) Schill, Joseph (Sheryl) Schill and Paul (Jessica) Schill; eight grandchildren, Ania, Matthew, Christopher, Kimberly, Joshua, Alex, Jacob and Samuel; and a sister, Kathy Budnowski.
Preceding Chuck in death are his wife, Marge, and his parents.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date, and inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
