Emma Burish, 84, Shawano, passed away Jan. 25, 2021, at home to be with the Lord.
Emma was born July 20, 1936, in the Town of Spruce, Oconto County, to the late Jacob and Anna (Tienor) Burish. She attended grade school in the Town of Spruce and graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1954.
Emma moved to the Manitowoc area and worked as an office assistant for Mirro/Newell Aluminum until her retirement. Emma moved to Shawano and settled in at the Glenderry Apartments and enjoyed her time with neighbors in the community room, enjoyed reading, shopping, and tracking all costs, spending time with family and especially attending Catholic Mass.
Emma is survived by her brother, Donald (Mary) Burish, Kaukauna; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and acquaintances, including special nephew, Ronald (Susan) Lambrecht, Gillett, and his family.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marie, Alice, Annie, Rosie and Delores; brothers, Clarence, Francis and Jacob.
Services for Emma will be announced at a later date.
