Milton E. Christensen Sr.

Milton E. Christensen Sr., 50, of Suring, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022. Milton was born on Aug. 22, 1972, to Dan and Alice (Carrico) Christensen Sr. in Savannah, Georgia. The family moved to Suring in July 1976. He graduated from Suring High School in 1990. Milton was a truck driver his whole life and spent the last several years with JWC. He was an avid fisher and hunter who loved the outdoors. Trout fishing with Kevin, his brother-in-law, and trap shooting with Dan were some of his favorite past times. He loved camping and was the family grill master. Milton was the center of every family get together, acting as planner and host. He also enjoyed blackberry picking, riding the trails on his ATV, building tree stands and ice shacks, and cutting brush. Milton will be remembered by all for his incredible sense of humor. Milton is survived by his parents, Dan and Alice; five children, Kristina (Bob) Suchon, Jacob Christensen, Jonathan (Mandalyn) Christensen, Milton (Maryjane) Christensen Jr., and Michael Christensen; two grandchildren, Riley and Milton III; and sisters, Lori Determan, Diane Determan, Melanie Schuptan, and Regenia (Kevin) Saeger. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Christensen Jr. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at Maple Valley Community Church from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 3 p.m. with Pastor Andrew Jantz officiating.
