Madylyn Miron Sleeman, 91, of Cecil, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020. She was born in Escanaba, Michigan, to George and Leona (Bordeau) Miron on Aug. 19, 1928. She was raised in Aurora and was a graduate of Kingsford, Michigan, High School.
Madylyn was an employee of Robert W. Barid and Co., Milwaukee, for 37 years. She married David Sleeman in 1968. David preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2019, after 51 years of marriage. She was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Cecil.
Madylyn is survived by her two stepdaughters, Susan and Cindy; a sister, Maxine (Gerald) O’Connell; a brother, Daniel (Rose) Miron; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister, Rosanne (Lee) Legatzke.
Madylyn has requested no visitation or funeral. She will be buried in Iron River, Michigan.
