Kenneth (Butch) Alan Tischer, 79, passed away Jan. 16, 2020.
Ken was born, raised and attended school in Bonduel. He retired in 2000 after working 40 years as a journeyman electrician.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sandi; his children, Debbie (Tim) Kallies, Joni Dowling, Patti Tischer and Dan (Tina) Tischer; stepchildren Jim (Shelly) Ginter and Julie (Kirk) Miller; sister Judy (Peter) Hoffman; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Lori, and sister, Shirley Schlei Larsen.
Besides his love for his family, he loved hunting, shooting, growing tomatoes, planting pines and cutting firewood. His greatest love was for the Lord. He loved to share it with everyone he met.
Ken will be dearly missed by his family, hunting, breakfast, trap shooting and golf buddies.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held Monday, June 29, at River Valley Church Assembly of God, 131 N. Franklin St., Shawano. The time will be announced at a later date.
