Elmer Naumann

Elmer Naumann, 83, Angelica, passed away peacefully, May 14, 2022, at Greentree Health and Rehabilitation, Clintonville. The son of Elmer and Frieda (Koehler) Naumann was born on the family farm in Green Valley on Oct. 22, 1938. Elmer grew up in the Green Valley area and graduated from Pulaski High School with the Class of 1957. Following high school, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served until his honorable discharge on July 22, 1960. Elmer married his high school sweetheart, Judith Nighorn, on Sept. 24, 1960, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Zachow. The couple made their home in the Town of Angelica, where they raised their family and farmed for many years. Elmer drove milk truck for Pagel’s, as well. Survivors include his three children: Steve (Marsha) Naumann, Laura (Randy) Simon and Becky (Jim) Abb; eight grandchildren: Andrea (Jesse) Reyment, Brent Naumann (fiancée, Tiffany Krueger), Justin (Terra) Naumann, Travis Naumann, Derek Simon, Brad (Annie) Simon, Tiffany Naumann (Dakota VanBuskirk) and Gavin Abb. He is further survived by nine great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mavis (Ken) Eggert and Joanne VanCuyk; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Mary Jane (Augie) Tyczkowski, Betty (Keith) Burmeister, Pat (Dallas) Maass, Randy Gauthier, Dolly (Keith) Stamps; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Judy, and parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Howard (Leora) Naumann, Morris Naumann, Duane Naumann and James (Judy) Naumann; three sisters: Alice (Kenneth) Voelz, Doris (Willard) Kumm and Judy Ann (Sherman) Radtke. Friends are invited to gather with the family at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Saturday, May 21, from noon until 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Military honors provided by the Pulaski Area Veterans will follow at the funeral home. Entombment will take place in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
