HSHS St. Vincent Hospital will host free, virtual classes this winter to prepare mothers and families for breastfeeding success.
The classes will be offered via Zoom and led by a certified lactation consultant from HSHS St. Vincent Hospital’s Women and Infants Center. The classes are from 5:30-8 p.m. Jan. 10, Feb. 2 and March 13.
Topics discussed will include the benefits of breastfeeding, how to know if baby is getting enough milk, breast milk storage tips, when to feed the baby and different breastfeeding positions.
