The Shawano Area Matthew 25 Community Health Clinic will open its doors Feb. 24.
The clinic will provide free basic healthcare and health education to those in the area without health insurance who are living at or below 250% of the federal poverty level ($43,000 per year for a household of two). Assistance in obtaining affordable health insurance will be available during clinic hours from the ThedaCare benefits specialist.
The SAM25 clinic, 105 E. Richmond St., Shawano, will be open on Thursdays from 4-8 p.m. and will expand hours and services as needs and resources dictate. Appointments can be made by calling 715-916-3036.
