Kurt and Pam Butler, of Lakewood, recently retired from leadership positions in the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs after many years of service as director (11 years) and representative (15 years) representing Oconto County. Pam was also involved with Kids and Adults On Snow, a youth branch of the AWSC. The couple were also board members of the Oconto County Snowmobile Alliance, where Kurt has served as president and pam as secretary.
Kurt and Pam were presented with a gift of appreciation from the club at the Paul Bunyan Riders Christmas Party on Dec. 14 at Halfway Bar. During their 34 years with Paul Bunyan Riders, Kurt served as trail boss (10 years) and Pam served as a longtime club secretary. Both have been an inspiration of service to the sport of snowmobiling.
