Cellcom launches 5G coverage in Cecil, Bonduel, Rose Lawn

Green Bay-based wireless carrier Cellcom has launched 5G in Cecil, Bonduel and Rose Lawn in Shawano County. Customers can now access the faster speeds and improved response times delivered by 5G. Cellcom will expand its 5G coverage throughout 2022, including additional sites in Shawano County. “Our teams have worked tirelessly to prepare our network for 5G and Cellcom is excited to deliver 5G in small communities during the early stages of our rollout,” said Brighid Riordan, CEO of Cellcom. “Cellcom is committed to building our network to serve not only cities, but towns and rural communities throughout Wisconsin.” In preparing for the 5G launch, Cellcom has also made improvements to its 4G LTE network.
