Barbara Ann “Barb” (Prey) Bohardt, 73, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in Shawano. Barb was born Oct. 15, 1952, in Clintonville to the late Ralph and Lucille (Drake) Prey Sr.
Barb was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Bohardt on July 10, 1971. She enjoyed camping and gardening. Barb also enjoyed all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were all the light of her life.
She worked at L&L and Beyers, then moved onto work at Schultz Brothers and Prange Way before finally retiring from Qualheim’s True Value after 20-plus years.
Barb is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bob Bohardt; daughters, Linda (Lloyd) Hansen and Roberta (Dan) Liesner; grandchildren, Stephanie (Nick) Popelka, Laura Wussow, Richard (Brianna) Wussow Jr., Courtney (Hansen) Johnson, Tyanna Liesner and Ashley Liesner; great-grandchildren, Alaina Popelka, Callen Wussow and Croix Wussow; siblings, Eddie Prey, LaVerne Burmiester, Kay Babino, JoAnn (Jim) Prey, Jeanette (David) Habeck, Gary (Robin) Prey and Jim (Regina) Prey; brother-in-law, Kurt Bohardt; and sister-in-law, Resa Petroski.
She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lucille Prey; siblings, Roger Prey, Sandy DeBroux, Ralph Prey Jr., Betty Lou Gajewske; and her baby sister, Marilyn Prey.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano from 3-7 p.m. with a time of sharing at 6:30 p.m.
