Jury convicts heroin dealer but acquits on homicide charge

OCONTO — An Oconto County jury last week found an Oconto woman guilty of selling heroin but not guilty of homicide in the heroin overdose death of an Oconto man.

Chasity M. Denny and a co-defendant, Brian A. Blasing, both 29, were charged in connection with the Sept. 12, 2018, death of Jeffrey Dean Pecha.

Decorative sign business grows out of house painting

WITTENBERG — In 2010, a friend asked Kelly Lettau to paint her home.

The stay-at-home mom was looking to create a stream of income, so she agreed and rolled out her business, That’s How We Roll.

The painting business has become so popular that Lettau now books her jobs two to three months out, she said. As part of her services, she does a walk-through of the property before sending the customer a quote and then meeting in person to discuss color options.
