Lois Dorothy (Passuello) Blank, 86, formerly of Birnamwood, died on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Owosso, Michigan, in her beautiful apartment at Oliver Woods Assisted Living Facility. Her family and beloved cats, Kitty-Kitty and Squirt, were at her bedside before her passing.

Lila Irene Postler, 83, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill.

She was born Feb. 19, 1941, in Shawano to the late Albert and Irene (Montoure) Shroeder.

She met the love of her life, Perry Postler, at a dance in Tilleda. They married Oct. 15, 1960, at St. Jacobi Lutheran Church in Shawano, treasuring 60 years of marriage. Perry preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 2019.

Donald W. Roever

Donald W. Roever, 92, of the Town of Grant, passed away Thursday afternoon, Aug. 15, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

Donald William Roever was born March 14, 1932, in the Town of Grant, son to the late William and Malinda (nee Voigt) Roever. During his early life, Donald lived and worked on his family farm.

Sharon L. Ziereis

Sharon L. Ziereis, 86, of Oconto Falls (formerly of Gillett), passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024.

Sharon was born on April 7, 1938, to the late Clarence and Inez (Sonderegger) Langfeldt in La Farge. With her brothers, Gary and Keith, Sharon played the piano accordion in their band, the Sharon Lee Rhythmettes. She graduated from Wausau High School and later St. Mary’s Hospital Nursing Program in 1960.

Jeffrey David ‘Paemapameh’ Grignon

Jeffrey David “Paemapameh” Grignon, 59, of Keshena, passed away on Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, at his home.

Jeff was born on Nov. 27, 1964, in Shawano to the late Mary Louise Grignon. He graduated from Shawano High School and was an all-star in cross-country, basketball and baseball.

Jeff was a traditional knowledge keeper for the Menominee people. He taught nationwide about the importance of our connection to our traditional lands. Jeff was a proud wildland firefighter and cultural preservation officer for historic preservation.

Elroy W. Peters

Elroy W. Peters, 87, Abrams, died Saturday morning, Aug. 10, 2024, at home.

He was born Sept. 16, 1936, in Green Bay to William and Elsie (Behnke) Peters. Elroy grew up in Abrams where he attended elementary school, graduating from Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1954.
