Shiocton 10, Bonduel 9

Shiocton jumped out to an 8-2 lead after the first inning and held on from there to beat Bonduel 10-9.

Shiocton scored another two runs in the second inning to take a 10-2 lead.

Five runs by the Bears in the third inning and another two in the fourth made it 10-9.

Manawa 8, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 5

Manawa used a big seven-run third inning to defeat Wittenberg-Birnamwood 8-5.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 10, Menominee Indian 5

Wittenberg-Birnamwood defeated Menominee Indian 10-5.

The Chargers held a 4-1 lead after the first inning, but by the fifth inning, the game was tied 5-5. Wittenberg-Birnamwood scored twice in the sixth and three times in the seventh to secure the win.

For the Chargers, Rory Salvesen hit 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored. Brie Ladika hit 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored.

Camryn Miller also had a double.

Rosholt beats Tigerton in seven innings

Rosholt 4, Tigerton 3

Rosholt scored a game-winning run in the top of the seventh to defeat Tigerton 4-3 at Tiger Stadium.

Rosholt held a 1-0 lead in the second inning. Tigerton tied the game in the fourth inning and took a 2-1 lead in the fifth. Rosholt went back up 3-2 in the sixth only to have Tigerton tie the game in the bottom of the inning.

Angel Welch hit 2-for-3 for the Tigers. Jade Selle and McKenzie Hoffman each had an RBI.

Bonduel beats Wittenberg-Birnamwood 8-3

Lila Pleshek hit a home run and RBIs were collected by Hailey Zernicke (three), Pleshek, Gracyn Wudtke, Joselyn Bohm and Ella Hischke as Bonduel defeated Wittenberg-Birnamwood 8-3.

Tatum Sporisky hit 4-for-4, Joselyn Bohm hit 2-for-3, Pleshek was 2-for-4 and Zernicke was 2-for-4.

For the Chargers, Rory Salvesen hit 2-for-3 and Sophia Lemieux was 2-for-4.

Lemieux had a double and an RBI, and Breleigh Ladika had a pair of RBIs.

Bonduel shut out Menominee Indian 8-0.

Hailee Thompson had three hits, including two doubles. Tatum Sporisky pitched a complete game.

Tigerton 5, Tri-County 3

Tri-County opened with a 1-0 lead after the first half inning against Tigerton, but that would be their only lead of the game.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood scores 23 in win over Rosholt

Menominee Indian won its first game of the year, a 15-5 non-conference victory over Tigerton.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 23, Rosholt 6

Wittenberg-Birnamwood used a 14-run fourth inning to run away with a 23-6 win over Rosholt.

Jayda Moenke hit 3-for-4 including a home run and five RBIs.

Kendall Lex hit 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs.

Hitting 2-for-3 were Brieleigh Ladika and Camryn Miller. Ladika hit a double and triple with one RBI.

Shawano shuts out Antigo 1-0

Marissa Tomashek hit 3-for-4 and had the winning RBI in Shawano’s 1-0 win over Antigo.

Abby Bystol pitched four innings and allowed six hits while striking out three. Kadence Meyers also pitched four innings, struck out four and walked one.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood went 1-1 in its home quadrangular.

The Chargers lost the opener 6-2 to Three Lakes/Phelps but bounced Clintonville 9-5 in game two.

Against the Truckers, Brieleigh Ladika hit 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Evelyn Fletcher hit a triple and also had two RBIs.
