WIAA approves lacrosse realignment fast track

The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association board of control approved a limited number of action items, and received customary executive staff and liaison reports at its September meeting.

A conference realignment fast track recommendation that merges the Fox River Classic and Fox River Valley Conference for lacrosse was approved.

The nine-team league will include Appleton East/Appleton North/Appleton West/Fox Valley Lutheran/Hortonville/Ripon/Waupaca/Wild Rose/Xavier co-op, Bay Port, De Pere/West De Pere co-op, Neenah, Kimberly, Notre Dame/Ashwaubenon/Freedom/Kaukauna co-op, Oneida Nation/Green Bay East/Green Bay Preble/Green Bay Southwest/Green Bay West/Seymour co-op, Pulaski and Wausau West/D.C. Everest/Mosinee/Wausau East co-op.
