The Menominee Indian football and Gresham/Bowler boys soccer teams have both ended their alternate fall seasons early.

Menominee Indian coach Chris Clache cited numerous injuries stacking up as to why the team wouldn’t finish its alternate season. Player safety was at the forefront of the decision for Clache.

Menominee Indian had two games remaining on its alternate season.

Gresham/Bowler coach Walter Moesch cited a lack of athletes — some who are now involved with their spring sports — for why the co-op ended its season. The co-op removed itself from its postseason pod on April 22.
