Oconto Falls swept by Denmark

Oconto Falls dropped a pair of contests to North Eastern Conference opponent Denmark on May 22 in Oconto Falls.

In a 2-0 loss in game one, Jake Sager led Oconto Falls with two hits. The Panthers had just four hits in the contest.

Tucker Bouche took the loss after allowing an unearned run across four innings, while Sager allowed an unearned run while pitching the final three innings. Bouche struck out seven batters.

In a 4-3 loss in game two, Sager, Braden VanderMoss and Alex Waschbisch all had hits for Oconto Falls. Braden Uelmen suffered the loss on the mound after pitching all six innings.

Oconto Falls drops 2 to Denmark

Oconto Falls lost two games to NEC foe Denmark on May 22 in Oconto Falls.

In a 12-10 final in 11 innings in the first game, each team had 18 hits. Jayden Arndt and Jamesen Engel each homered for the Panthers, driving in two runs each. Taylor Ash and Lily Kurek also had two RBIs. Ashlyn Allen led the team with four hits, and Abbi Remic scored a team-leading three runs.

Kurek took the loss after striking out seven batters across 10 2/3 innings. Arndt got the final out in the 11th inning. Only seven of Denmark’s runs were earned.

Oconto Falls was limited to three hits in a 10-0 loss in five innings in game two. Remic had two hits, while Alexis Euclide had the other. Arndt took the loss after pitching a complete game.
