Ski Sharks members part of new world records
Even though the final Shawano Ski Sharks show was on Aug. 17, the team has been busy over the past few weeks.
Several Ski Sharks members have been part of world record attempts, and the team has began to plan for the 2023 season.
Keuschel part of new world record
Ski Sharks member Brad Keuschel was one of the skiers that formed a 93-person human pyramid on Sept. 10 on Rock River in Janesville.
Recently, the accomplishment was officially named a Guinness World Record for the largest human water skiing pyramid formation.
Skiers from seven different teams formed the pyramid named The Mercury Marine Pyramid.

Several Ski Sharks part of more pending records
More members of the Shawano ski team traveled to Lake Dubay in Wausau for the Big Pull event on Sept. 17.
Skiers attempted to break records for most doubles couples behind one boat, most trios teams behind one boat and most conventional doubles couples behind one boat.
All three acts had pending worlds records after the day.
Guinness World Records approved the record for most doubles couples at 27. A total of 12 teams were part of the new record.
Guinness also approved the record for most trios at 16. A total of 11 teams helped in setting the new record.
Ski Sharks name new show directors
Sam, Jack and Ryan Strachan were named the show directors for the Ski Sharks for the 2023 season.
The trio of brothers have been an integral part of the team over the past few seasons.
Carsten McHugh served as the team’s show director this past season.
