Shawano falls to Kaukauna, Preble at tennis triangular
The Shawano Community High School boys tennis team lost of pair of matches during its final regular season event on May 20 in Shawano.
Shawano fell 5-2 to Green Bay Preble and Kaukauna during the triangular.
Shawano's Domenic Badalamenti earned a win at No. 4 singles against Preble. Isaac Welander and Tristan Tetting had the other win for the Hawks, winning 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Evan Anderson picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win for Shawano at No. 4 singles against Kaukauna. George Buerman and Tristan Sheldon earned the other win, prevailing 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.
In the match with Preble, Shawano's Ben Langlois lost 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Tybault Tousch fell 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, while Cristian Hernandez lost 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
Buerman and Sheldon lost a hard-fought 6-4, 0-6, 11-9 match at No. 1 doubles. Andrew Vandenheuvel and Seth Williams fell 6-4, 4-6, 11-9 in a battle at No. 3 doubles.
Williams played at No. 1 singles against Kaukauna, falling 6-1, 6-1. Ryan Buerman was topped 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, while Mason Sparks lost 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.
Abraham Kim and Asatur Sarkisyan fell 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles. Andrew Mukka and Elias Popp were defeated 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.
