Volunteers were kept quite busy dishing out scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese curds and more June 27 during the Shawano County Brunch on the Farm at Back 40 Acres in the Town of Angelica. The Shawano County Farm Bureau was expecting more than 4,500 people to attend this year, and despite the rainy weather throughout the event, traffic on Cedar Road was backed up for most of it as vehicles waited to get on the farm.(Lee Pulaski | NEW Media)
The Shawano County Brunch on the Farm even attracted Santa Claus to attend the event, held June 27 at Back 40 Acres. Ellen Raymakers, of Bonduel, gives Santa her early Christmas list.
