Rogowski, Metropulos, Bruss make all-state volleyball teams

Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Reese Rogowski and London Metropulos and Pulaski’s Emily Bruss were named to Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Teams on Nov. 11.

Rogowski and Metropulos each made the Division 3 honorable mention team, while Bruss was an honorable mention in Division 1.

In her senior season, Rogowski accumulated 367 attack kills, 201 service points, 36 aces, 30 total blocks and 325 digs.

Rogowski also made the WVCA All-Tournament Team for her play in the team’s state semifinal match.

Metropulos tallied a team-leading 416 attack kills and 50 total blocks in her junior season. She also totaled 217 service points, 62 aces and 247 digs.

Both Metropulos and Rogowski were first-team selections in the Central Wisconsin Conference-East Division this fall.

Bruss was the Co-Player of the Year in the Fox River Classic Conference.

The Pulaski junior racked up 593 assists, 235 digs, 116 attack kills, 141 service points, 52 aces and 32 total blocks during the season.
