Pulaski, Shawano girls soccer teams learn first playoff opponents

The Pulaski and Shawano girls soccer teams learned their first postseason opponents after the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association released postseason brackets recently.

Both teams are part of the same Division 2 playoff pod.

Pulaski earned a No. 3 seed and will open postseason action by hosting No. 14 Beaver Dam at 7 p.m. May 30 in Pulaski.

If Pulaski tops Beaver Dam, it would next host either No. 11 Green Bay Southwest or No. 6 Slinger on June 3.

Shawano is the No. 13 seed in the bracket and will head to No. 4 Nicolet at 6 p.m. May 30.

If the Hawks can pull the upset, they would travel to face No. 5 Menasha or No. 12 Oshkosh North on June 3.
