Fala M. Straughter waived her time limit on a preliminary hearing on Aug. 10 for a Aug. 2 arrest.
Straughter, 47, was charged Aug. 2 with 16 counts of misappropriating identification information, after allegedly using a tribal enrollment card that is not in her name.
She faces six years in prison and $10,000 in fines for each count if convicted.
During her status conference on Aug. 10, attorney Greg A. Petit, who was representing Straughter asked for the court to set a preliminary examination of the case.
Judge William Kussel Jr. scheduled a preliminary hearing for Oct. 4 at 11:15 a.m.
