Oconto Falls teams 3rd at home track and field meet

The Oconto Falls High School boys and girls track and field teams each placed third at a North Eastern Conference meet May 18 in Oconto Falls.

The Oconto Falls boys scored 60 points, with the girls tallying 50. Luxemburg-Casco placed first on both sides, with the boys tallying 83 points and the girls 119. Marinette and Wrightstown also competed in the meet.

Owen Huber was the top finisher in the boys 200-meter dash (25.0 seconds) and the triple jump (36 feet, 10.5 inches) to lead the Oconto Falls boys.

Huber was also on the top-finishing 4x200 relay team (1:47.1). Devon Dorn, Justin Spaulding and Riley Treichel filled out the relay.

Dorn, Spaulding and Treichel joined Nicholas Allen on the first-place finishing 4x100 relay (50.7).

Brailyn St. Louis won the 100 hurdles (15.6) for the lone first-place individual finish for the Oconto Falls girls team.

Kearra Champeau, Joana Espino, Hailey Kopke and Anna Spaulding formed the first-place finishing 4x100 relay (56.7).
