Oconto Falls takes 3rd at volleyball invite

The Oconto Falls High School volleyball team posted a 4-2 record to claim third place at the Shawano Invite on Sept. 11

The Panthers defeated Clintonville (25-14, 25-14), Wausau West (24-26, 25-16, 15-13), Brillion (16-25, 25-15, 15-12) and Peshtigo (25-14, 25-19) on the day and lost to Oconto (25-18, 25-20) and Shawano (24-26, 25-21, 15-6).

In the win over Clintonville, Emmie Magnin led the Panthers with 11 attack kills, while Amber Otto had five. Hailey Peitersen finished with 18 assists, while Quinn Eisch and Karlie Kowalczyk had four digs each.

In the loss to Oconto, Peitersen had 13 assists and nine digs. Magnin led the team with six attack kills, while Brailyn St. Louis chipped in four.

Magnin had 10 attack kills in Oconto Falls’ three-set win over Wausau West. Peitersen had six attack kills, six digs and 19 assists. Kowalczyk led the team with eight digs, while St. Louis added five attack kills.

Kowalczyk recorded 12 digs in the win over Brillion, while Magnin had 12 attack kills. Peitersen was credited with 20 assists and 12 digs.

Peitersen put up 15 assists, 10 digs and five attack kills in the loss to Shawano. Magnin had six digs and seven attack kills, while St. Louis had five attack kills and five digs.

In the victory over Peshtigo, Kowalczyk led the Panthers with 11 digs. Peitersen had 14 assists, while Magnin served four aces and joined Morgan Kluth, St. Louis and Peitersen with three attack kills each.
