Proceedings of Jan. 20

Chadrick B. Thompson, 47, Oconto, was sentenced to two years in prison, followed by three years of extended supervision, for aggravated battery in connection with an incident that occurred Oct. 4, 2021. He was given credit for 473 days already served in county jail. Among conditions of extended supervision, Judge Michael T. Judge ordered Thompson to have no contact with the victim in the case, refrain from alcohol and other drugs, and complete all assessments, counseling and treatment deemed necessary by his probation and parole agent.

Michael Andrew Jahnel, 59, Mountain, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (ninth offense) and misdemeanor operating while revoked, in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 12. Judge scheduled sentencing for April 3 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

James R. Schiller, 60, Oconto, pleaded no contest to bail jumping, in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 30. Judge imposed and then stayed a prison sentence and placed Schiller on probation for one year. Charges of burglary and taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent, in connection with a May 2 incident, were dismissed in a plea agreement. Schiller was given credit for 263 days served in the county jail.

Jesse Reid Holtz, 49, Sobieski, pleaded no contest to two counts of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred Oct. 3, 2021. The charges were amended from felony criminal damage to property counts in a plea agreement. Judge ordered Holtz to pay $2,000 in restitution.

Laurence P. Reichert, 49, White Lake, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense), and misdemeanor operating while revoked, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 27. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for April 13.

Proceedings of Jan. 19

Matthew J. Fuller, 30, Oconto, pleaded guilty to fleeing an officer in a vehicle and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 5. Judge accepted a deferred judgment agreement suspending the felony case and placed Fuller on probation for one year for the misdemeanor charge. Conditions include that Fuller maintain absolute sobriety and obtain the equivalency of a high school diploma.

Proceedings of Jan. 18

Amy S. Lance, 51, Green Bay, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, followed by two years of extended supervision, for operating a motor vehicle with a restricted controlled substance (fourth offense) and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 31. She was given credit for 139 days already served in the county jail. Judge ruled that Lance is eligible for the Substance Abuse Program, which can lead to early release upon successful completion.

Virginia M. Huycke, 37, Oconto, was placed on two years of probation after sentencing was withheld for possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred March 1, 2022. Among other conditions Judge ordered Huycke to maintain absolute sobriety, undergo an alcohol and other drug abuse assessment and follow through with recommended treatment or counseling, and obtain an HSED or the equivalency of a high school diploma.

After a preliminary hearing Rene Hernandez-Fuentes, 44, Suring, was bound over and pleaded not guilty to third-degree sexual assault, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 18. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for March 16.

Proceedings of Jan. 17

Dominik Osmon, 21, Oconto, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 11, 2022. Judge Jay N. Conley scheduled sentencing for Feb. 6 and agreed to use a pre-sentence investigation report prepared for a recent Marinette County case.

Bond was set at $3,000 cash for Paula A. Dehart, 65, White Lake, after she was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 14. Her initial appearance was adjourned until Feb. 16.
