• Lisa E. Christoff, 66, Crivitz, pleaded guilty to felony bail jumping in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 4. Judge Jay Conley scheduled sentencing for Jan. 22 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
Proceedings of Nov. 21
• Travis A. Verbruggen, 35, Oconto Falls, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful use of a phone by threatening with an obscenity, in connection with an incident that occurred May 5. The charge was amended from a felony count in a plea agreement. Judge Michael Judge withheld sentencing and placed him on one year of probation with conditions.
• Nicole M. Harris, 41, Oconto Falls, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of THC (second or subsequent offense) and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 28. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Dec. 12.
• Bond was set at $10,000 cash for Christopher E. Thomson, 42, Lakewood, after he was charged with 10 counts of identity theft, 10 counts of forgery-uttering, and single counts of theft in a business setting and fraud against a financial institution, in connection with incidents alleged to have occurred between 2020 and 2024. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Dec. 12.

• Emilio G. Garcia, 34, Oconto, pleaded no contest to possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and pleaded guilty to possession of narcotic drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of THC, in connection with an incident that occurred May 25. Judge scheduled sentencing for Jan. 14 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
• A bench warrant was issued for Gregory J. Clementi, 70, Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly Lakewood, after he failed to appear for a final pre-trial conference on charges of fleeing an officer in a vehicle and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 14, 2023. Judge canceled a trial scheduled for Dec. 4.
• Cierra Nikole Bernarde, 29, Bowler, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded no contest to felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 10. Judge sentenced her to 90 days in jail and credited her for 70 days already served.
• A Dec. 4-5 jury trial was postponed for Michael Lee Vandenheuvel, 28, Green Bay, on charges of attempted strangulation and suffocation, false imprisonment and misdemeanor charges of battery, criminal damage to property, making contact after a domestic abuse arrest, and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 24. Judge scheduled a status conference for Jan. 16.
• Robby J. Lewis, 31, a Gillett man serving a sentence at Redgranite Correctional Institution, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense) and misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 30. Conley scheduled a pre-trial conference for Jan. 25.
