Proceedings of June 5

• Bond was set at $1,500 cash for Sean R. Calewarts, 40, Oconto Falls, after he was charged with two counts of felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 3. Judge Michael Judge adjourned his initial appearance until June 13.

• A jury trial was canceled in the case of Kevin J. Verhagen, 49, Little Suamico, on four counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 25, 2021. Further information was not yet available.

Proceedings of June 4

• Skylar Alexis Anwash, 22, Wabeno, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that occurred April 11. Two related counts of felony bail jumping were dismissed in a plea agreement. Judge withheld sentencing and placed her on one year of probation with conditions.

• Bond was set at $75,000 cash for Fred J. Masten, 75, Appleton, after he was charged with theft of movable property, taking and driving without consent, criminal damage to property and arson of property other than a building, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 25. Judge Jay Conley adjourned his initial appearance until June 13.

• Levi James Mineau, 25, Green Bay, pleaded no contest to fleeing an officer on his motorcycle in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 19, 2022. Judge withheld finding Mineau guilty pursuant to the provisions of a deferred judgment agreement and placed him on two years probation for an unrelated misdemeanor charge.

• Paul J. Frewerd, 52, Peshtigo, pleaded no contest to three counts of mistreatment of animals causing death, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred Oct. 1 and Oct. 5, 2020. Judge scheduled sentencing for Aug. 6 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• A three-day jury trial starting June 5 was rescheduled to Oct. 30 for Kent E. Aide, 59, Wausaukee, on charges of the manufacture, distribution or delivery of THC and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 28, 2022. Judge set a motion hearing for Aug. 5.

• After a preliminary hearing Brad M. Breuninger, 49, Pound, was bound over on charges of second-degree sexual assault with the use of force and second-degree sexual assault of an intoxicated victim, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 2. Conley scheduled arraignment for July 18.

• Tammy Marie Dumas, 56, Oconto Falls, waived her right to a preliminary hearing on charges of receiving stolen property, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 8; manufacturing with intent to deliver methamphetamine, manufacturing with intent to deliver THC, felony bail jumping and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 1, 2023; possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, and possession with intent to deliver THC, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 11. Conley scheduled arraignment for June 13.

Proceedings of June 3

• A Sept. 17 jury trial was scheduled for Joseph Arthur Andrus, 27, Oconto Falls, on charges of substantial battery intending bodily harm, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 31, 2022; and substantial battery, bail jumping and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 21, 2022. Conley scheduled a final pre-trial conference for Sept. 10.

• Bond was set at $20,000 cash for Edward Alexander Lewis, 52, Oconto Falls, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place, two counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 25. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until June 13.

• Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Virginia M. Huycke, 39, Oconto, after she was charged with two counts of possession of methamphetamine and two misdemeanor counts possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred May 25 and 26. Conley adjourned her initial appearance until June 13.
