NWTC offers code class for youth, community

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College campuses in Marinette and Oconto Falls will host a free in-person hour of code class on Dec. 11 from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Elementary, middle and high school students are welcome to attend. Members of the general public who have an interest in coding are also welcome. No experience in programming is needed. Instructors will help guide students through examples and help them build their computer coding skills.

Participants will receive a free T-shirt, and there will be drawings for prizes.

For those who would like to participate but cannot attend in person, an online option is available. Registration is required by Dec. 6, and admission is free. For information, parents or other community members can visit nwtc.edu/hourofcode.
