Lisa Marie Peters, 57, of Keshena, passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, in Shawano. She was born April 24, 1965, to Wayne and Glenda (Corn) Pecore in Shawano. When she first started working at the Menominee Tribal Clinic, she met the love of her life, Michael “Flea.” Lisa continued to work at the Menominee Tribal Clinic for over 30 years. Lisa and Michael were married on June 30, 1984, and celebrated over 26 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2011.

Lisa was a very active woman who loved walking and participating in many sports. She was a devout member and strong in her faith, helping others and participating in church activities whenever she could. Her longtime involvement in the church included being a religious ed teacher, conducting readings during services and coordinating church events. Friends and family knew Lisa as a problem solver and a planner. She loved road trips and camping with her family and friends and was a skilled packer of supplies and snacks.

Lisa also loved the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed including everyone in her Packers parties. Her family was very important, and she loved taking care of her dad, grandbabies and other family members. She was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, stepmother and grandmother and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her father, Wayne; her children, Randi (significant other Ron Fox) Peters, Waylon (significant other Heaven Ault) Peters and Raenell Peters; stepchildren, Kerry Nacotee, Kim Nacotee, Kelly Nacotee, Michael Peters Jr. and Kacey Nacotee; grandchildren, Ebony Ann Marie and Aiden Michael; brothers and sisters, Cheryl (Chris) Fish, Todd (Twilia) Pecore, Brett Pecore, Marie Beth “Muck” Pecore, Jay “Buckin” (Tamami) Pecore and Tina (Bill) Larsen.

She is further survived by many friends from childhood to adulthood: Brenda Besaw, Laura Corn, Kathy Tucker, Carrie Peters, Marcene Barnes, Charlotte Penass; her lifelong compadres, Lorraine “Clowney” Summers and Dennis (Judy) Jensen.

Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, Michael “Flea” Peters, mother, Glenda; brother, Wayne “Petey” Pecore and sister, Linda Warrington.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation started at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at St. Michael’s Parish Hall and will continue until the funeral mass at the church on Wednesday.
