Ben Wesolowski and Kaden Schmidt broke state records during Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s rout of Nekoosa on Oct. 15 in Wittenberg.

Wesolowski threw nine touchdowns, while Schmidt hauled in seven touchdown receptions.

Witt-Birn ended the regular season with an 8-2 record and 6-1 mark in the Central Wisconsin Conference-Large Division. The Chargers had a forfeit conference win over Manawa this fall.

Shawano 34

Fox Valley Lutheran 0

Shawano blanked Fox Valley Lutheran in a Bay Conference matchup on Oct. 15 in Appleton.

Shawano ended the regular season with a 4-5 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the Bay.

Bonduel 34

Peshtigo 0

Bonduel rolled to a Packerland Conference game on Oct. 15 in Peshtigo.

The Bears wrapped up the regular season with a 5-5 overall record and 5-2 mark in the conference. Bonduel had forfeit conference wins over Sturgeon Bay and Mishicot this year.

Bennett Engel rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns to lead Bonduel. Noah Weier and Louis Hrabik also rushed for a score.

Weier also threw for 107 yards. Bonduel limited Peshtigo to 142 total yards.

Oconto Falls capped the regular season with a Northwoods Conference win over Tomahawk on Oct. 15 in Oconto Falls.

The Panthers finished the regular season with an 8-2 record and 6-1 mark in the conference. Oconto Falls had a forfeit conference win over Northland Pines.

Menominee Indian caps the regular season with a 2-8 record and 2-5 mark in the conference. The Eagles had forfeit conference wins over Northern Elite and Northland Pines.

Marion/Tigerton dropped a CWC-East 8-player matchup to Greenwood on Oct. 15 in Greenwood.

Marion/Tigerton went 2-6 on the season and 1-4 in the CWC-East.

Gillett was topped by Algoma in a MONLPC-East 8-player contest on Oct. 15 in Algoma.

Gillett went 1-8 on the season and 1-4 in the conference. The Tigers had a forfeit conference win over Oneida Nation/Green Bay NEW Lutheran this fall.
