VOLLEYBALL

Gresham 3

Menominee Indian 0

Gresham picked up a Central Wisconsin Conference crossover victory over Menominee Indian on Oct. 14 in Gresham, winning by scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-19. Gresham caps the regular season with a 14-4 record.

Valarie Cerveny racked up 24 kills on the night for Gresham, while Josie Cerveny had 14 digs and 13 service points. Jessa Jensen tallied nine digs and six kills.

Gresham’s Lexi Baddmoccosin-Barnes led the team with 19 assists, while Hannah Cerveny added 12 assists. Maddie Haffner had 12 service points.

Oconto Falls 3

Clintonville 1

Oconto Falls earned a North Eastern Conference win over Clintonville on Oct. 14 in Oconto Falls, winning by scores of 25-20, 25-10, 22-25, 25-19.

Emmie Magnin posted 15 attack kills to lead Oconto Falls, while Grace Oninski had 11 and Brailyn St. Louis nine. Hailey Peitersen tallied 31 assists and 11 digs.

Quinn Eisch totaled four aces and 13 digs for the Panthers. Karlie Kowalczyk added 13 digs, while Hanna Krejcarek had 10. St. Louis served three aces.

Antigo 3

Witt-Birn 2

Wittenberg-Birnamwood dropped a nonconference match to Antigo in five sets on Oct. 14 in Wittenberg. The Chargers finished the regular season with a 20-15 mark after a 25-21, 17-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-10 loss.

London Metropulos finished the match with 22 total kills for Witt-Birn, while Reese Rogowski had 16 total kills and three aces. Jadalynn Davids posted 17 digs and four aces.

Lilly Betry totaled 16 assists and 13 digs for the Chargers. Payton Foster led the team with 20 assists, and Layla Huffman was credited with four block kills.

Almond-Bancroft 3

Tigerton 1

Tigerton dropped a CWC crossover match to Almond-Bancroft on Oct. 14 in Tigerton, losing by scores of 25-12, 15-25, 25-23, 33-31. The Tigers finished the regular season with an 8-16 record.

Skyler Hauser tallied 24 total kills and 24 digs to lead Tigerton on the court. Elizabeth Robbins led the team with 22 assists and added 15 digs and four attack kills.

Jaycee Hoppe-Schmidt posted 16 digs for the Tigers, while Leandra Kalwitz and Samantha Suehring had 14 each. Suehring chipped in four attack kills, while Kalwitz had three. Angel Welch finished with nine service points and Suehring had seven.

Port Edwards 3

Bowler 0

Bowler dropped a CWC crossover match to Port Edwards on Oct. 14 in Bowler, losing by scores of 25-23, 25-8, 25-20.

Morgan Paiser finished the night with six attack kills and nine digs for Bowler, while Ava Paiser added five attack kills, 10 digs, five assists and four aces.

Brandi Spencer totaled nine assists, six digs and three aces for Bowler. Bertina Dodge and Shianne Pike had four digs each, while Tia Kroening served three aces.

Lena goes 1-1 at triangular

Lena topped Gillett (25-10, 25-14, 25-13) but lost to Niagara (25-11, 25-17, 25-12) during a Marinette & Oconto Conference triangular Oct. 14 in Lena.

In the win over Gillett, Alabama Lambert led Lena with eight attack kills and added three aces. Natalie McNurlen posted seven attack kills and four aces, while Melanie Cops had eight total kills.

Makynna Herald was credited with 25 assists in the win. Claire Brooks chipped in five total kills.

In the loss to Niagara, Cops and McNurlen tallied four and three attack kills, respectively. Herald had eight assists and three digs.

Gillett finishes 0-2 at tri

Along with its loss to Lena (25-10, 25-14, 25-13), Gillett also suffered a loss to Niagara (25-10, 25-10, 25-11) at an Oct. 14 M&O triangular in Lena.

Naomi Anker posted 19 digs in the loss to Niagara. Grace Baer added four digs.

Against Lena, Katilynn Dodge led the Tigers with three kills. Anker tallied 12 digs, while Dodge had seven and Joslyn Sexton five.

BOYS SOCCER

Pulaski 6

Ashwaubenon 1

Joe Wacholz recorded a hat trick to lead Pulaski to a Fox River Classic Conference win over Ashwaubenon on Oct. 14 in De Pere.

Wacholz scored the first goal in the match off an assist from Noah Jaime. Wacholz added two unassisted goals in the second half.

Jack Ryan and Hayden Burkel also scored first-half goals for the Red Raiders, with Ben Uelmen and Chase Ambrosius assisting, respectively. Trentin Dauk scored the team’s final goal, doing so unassisted.

Gaven Haldemann was credited with one save while protecting the net for Pulaski. The Red Raiders outshot their opponents 14-2 on the night.

Pacelli 5

Gresham/Bowler 0

Gresham/Bowler was blanked by Pacelli in a CWC match Oct. 14 in Stevens Point.

James Davids Jr. was credited with nine saves while serving as the co-op’s goalie.

FOOTBALL

Pulaski 49

Manitowoc Lutheran 0

Pulaski rolled past Manitowoc Lutheran in a FRCC crossover game Oct. 14 in Pulaski. The Red Raiders capped the regular season with a 7-2 record and 5-2 record in the FRCC-North.

Maverick Cole rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns for Pulaski, while Aaron Maroszek added 121 rushing yards and another score. Derek Block and Logan Schultz also rushed for touchdowns, as Pulaski finished with 305 passing yards.

Block also threw a touchdown pass to Maroszek. Jake Adams returned the second half kickoff 88 yards for a score.

Wabeno/Laona 52

Suring 2

Suring dropped a MONLPC-West 8-player matchup to Wabeno/Laona on Oct. 14 in Wabeno.

Suring capped the regular season with a 3-5 overall record and 2-3 mark in the conference.
