BASEBALL

Bonduel 14

Shiocton 6

Bonduel scored in all but one inning to ease to a Central Wisconsin Conference-East Division win over Shiocton on June 4 in Shiocton.

The Bears scored eight runs between the second and third innings. Bonduel had 11 hits in the game and also walked 12 times.

Brett Margelofsky had three hits for Bonduel, while Cole Anderson and Carson Robaidek had two hits each. Anderson, Garrett Engel, Reece Stoltenow and Jack Johnson all drove in two runs for the Bears.

Anderson picked up the win on the mound after pitching 5 1/3 innings and striking out five batters. He allowed four runs on seven hits and no walks.

Bowler 14

NL/WVL 3 (6 inn.)

Bowler scored at least one run in every inning to earn a convincing CWC-North win over Northland Lutheran/Wisconsin Valley Lutheran on June 4 in Kronenwetter.

Adin Brei tallied three hits and scored three hits to lead Bowler's offense. Lane Schultz, Brock Strassburg, Logan Thiex and Wylee Dodge drove in two runs each.

Schultz also scored three times, while Thiex, Sterling Schreiber III, Beau Brunner and Ashwuut Mohawk scored twice each. Brunner and Schreiber III stole three bases each, while Brei had two stolen bases.

Schultz picked up the win on the mound, striking out 10 batters over six innings. He surrendered the three runs on four hits and four walks.

SOFTBALL

Bowler 13

NL/WVL 8

Bowler scored four runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings to power past Northland Lutheran/Wisconsin Valley Lutheran in CWC-North action June 4 in Kronenwetter.

Weengetah Mohawk drove in five runs on two hits for Bowler. She also walked three times, stole two bases and scored four runs.

Morgan Paiser drove in six runs on three hits, while Bertina Dodge tallied four hits, two RBIs and three runs scored for the Panthers. Shianne Pike and Tynea Johnson posted three hits each, while Johnson and Tia Kroening scored three times each.

McKayla Putnam pitched all seven innings to earn the win for Bowler. She struck out eight batters while surrendering 11 hits and seven walks.

Witt-Birn 3

Bonduel 2

Abi Fraaza came through with a two-out RBI double in the seventh inning to help Wittenberg-Birnamwood take down Bonduel in CWC-East action on June 4 in Bonduel.

Emma Herb scored the go-ahead run for the Chargers. Jasmin Duranceau earned the win in the circle after working all seven innings.

Nakiyah Henning suffered the loss for Bonduel, also pitching a complete game.

Henning singled and scored in the fourth inning to make it a 2-2 contest. Ella Hischke led off the third with a single and later scored on a single by Abby Stoltenow.
