Bonduel 11

Nichols 6 (12 inn.)

Bonduel scored five runs in the top of the 12th inning and went on for a road win over Nichols on July 18.

Luke Kostreva belted a two-run home run to put Bonduel ahead before the team tacked on three more runs. Chase Reinke drove in three runs for the Broncos, while Kostreva posted four of the team’s 12 hits and scored three runs.

Chase Reinke pitched the first seven innings for Bonduel before Wyatt Reinke worked two innings. J.C. Reinke pitched the 10th frame before Barrett Bohm worked the 11th and 12th to pick up the win.

Justin Krull took the loss for Nichols. Tyce Leisgang and Sam Blank drove in two runs each for the Nitros.

Hofa Park 5

Marinette 4

Hofa Park downed Marinette on July 18 in Marinette.

James Borick homered among his three hits and drove in three runs for Hofa Park. Borick also scored twice. Cole Wilcox tallied three hits, stole two bases and scored twice.

Mike Delgado earned the win after pitching three innings in relief of Mitch Mennen. Robert Schuettpelz worked the ninth to earn the save.

Waupaca 12

Pulaski 2 (7 inn.)

Waupaca eased to a win over Pulaski on July 18 in Waupaca.

Luke Behm, Jason Ellie and Wes Austin all drove in two runs for Waupaca. Ryan Joseph scored two runs, while Johnny Popham added two hits.

Cam Seidl earned the win after pitching the first five innings and striking out nine batters. Brenden Canterbury pitched the final two frames.

Waupaca wins Bonduel Invitational

Waupaca earned wins over Navarino (4-2), Bonduel (4-3) and Shawano (16-1) to claim first place at the 42nd Bonduel Broncos Invitational Tournament.

Waupaca’s Walker Smith was named the tournament’s most valuable player. Smith collected five hits, drove in eight runs, belted two home runs and a double and also scored four runs in the team’s wins.
