Dairyland League Highlights

Bonduel 9

Hofa Park 4

Bonduel moved to 2-0 on the young season after taking down Hofa Park on May 23 in Hofa Park.

Chase Reinke earned the win on the mound for Bonduel, striking out 10 batters along the way. Jack Reinke came on in relief and got the save.

Jack Reinke, Luke Kostreva and Adam Frost all had three hits for Bonduel. Frost homered and drove in a pair.

Marcus Hornacek, Bob Tilot, Carson Williquette and Will Sullivan all had two hits for Hofa Park, which slipped to 0-2 overall. Tilot also drove in a pair.

Pulaski 13

Cecil 1

Pulaski tallied 15 hits to roll to a win over Cecil on May 23 in Cecil. Pulaski was playing its first game of the season, while Cecil slipped to 0-3 overall.

Jason Infusino homered among his three hits while driving in five runs and scoring two more to lead Pulaski at the plate. Garrett Kaczrowski drove in three runs.

Kaczrowski earned the win after pitching six innings and allowing just one run.

Isaac Boldt pitched the first 3 1/3 innings and took the loss for Cecil before Noah Beilfuss worked the final 5 2/3 innings. Beilfuss had two of the team’s seven hits and drove in the only run, scoring Riddik Bohm.

Waupaca 6

Shawano 2

Waupaca moved to 2-1 overall after handing Shawano its first loss of the season in a May 23 game in Shawano.

Ryan Joseph tripled twice among his four hits, scored two runs and drove in a run for Waupaca. Luke Russell drove in two runs.

Cameron Seidl picked up the win after striking out 10 batters across six innings. Russell got the save after pitching the final three frames.

Shawano is now 1-1 overall.

Hortonville 9

Navarino 1

Hortonville improved to 3-0 after easing past Navarino on May 23 in Hortonville.

Ryan Boettcher took the loss on the mound, while Kendal Lecker and Wyatt Erb also pitched. Navarino is now 2-1.

Lecker and Mike Dingeldein had two hits each for Navarino, but the team stranded 10 runners on base.

Marinette 18

Freedom 6

Marinette got its season started with a lopsided win over Freedom on May 23 in Freedom.

Ty Meyers had two RBIs for Freedom, while Dusty Varick suffered the loss on the mound. The hosts slipped to 0-2 overall.
