• Ryan J. Welch, 32, Shawano, was charged Jan. 23 with one count of strangulation and suffocation, one count of intimidating a victim in a domestic abuse crime, and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court Judge William Kussel Jr. set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Feb. 9.

• Jessie L. Otradovec, 36, Shawano, was charged Jan. 23 with one count of forgery, one count of possession of methamphetamine, nine misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Kussel set a cash bond of $500 and a signature bond of $3,500. He also scheduled a preliminary hearing for Feb. 8.

• Kennedy P. Courchaine, 58, Gillett, was charged Jan. 23 with one count of operating while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense). Kussel set a cash bond of $4,500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Jan. 31.

• Louis J. Sanapaw, 25, Keshena, was charged Jan. 24 with one count of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of operating without a valid license (second offense within three years). Kussel set a signature bond of $3,000 and scheduled a final pre-trial for March 31.

• Charges against Michelle R. Malone, 45, Bowler, were dismissed Jan. 24 on prosecutor’s motion. Those charges included one count of possession of narcotic drugs and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Ashlee N. Webster, 27, Keshena, pleaded no contest Jan. 24 to one count of possession of methamphetamine. One misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed, but read into the record. Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court Judge Katherine Sloma sentenced Webster to 30 days in jail and three years of probation.

• Michael D. Borchardt, 58, Wittenberg, pleaded no contest Jan. 24 to two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct. Two counts of strangulation and suffocation were dismissed, but read into the record. Kussel fined Borchardt $200.

• Celeste S. Kaquatosh, 25, Keshena, pleaded no contest Jan. 24 to one misdemeanor count of possession of THC and one misdemeanor count of bail jumping. One count of child abuse and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed, but read into the record. Kussel fined Kaquatosh $600.

• Natavia A. Adams, 21, Oneida, was charged Jan. 25 with two counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possession of THC. Kussel set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a status conference for Feb. 21.

• Roxanne S. Barber, 43, Tigerton, was charged Jan. 26 with one count of possession of methamphetamine and two misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Kussel set a signature bond of $1,000 and scheduled a status conference for March 1.

• Aaron M. Shawanokasic, 34, Neopit, was charged Jan. 26 with one count of possession of narcotic drugs. Kussel set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Feb. 13.

• Taylor R. Krause, 30, Shawano, pleaded no contest Jan. 26 to one count of substantial battery and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. One count of strangulation and suffocation was dismissed, but read into the record. Marathon County Circuit Court Judge Lamont Jacobson sentenced Krause to eight months in jail and three years of probation.

• Sandra M. Koszarek, 43, Shawano, was charged Jan. 27 with four counts of bail jumping. Kussel set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a status conference for March 1.

• Matthew C. Malone, 39, Bowler, was charged Jan. 27 with three counts of battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor, or law enforcement officer, seven counts of bail jumping, two misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct. Kussel set a cash bond of $5,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Feb. 1.

• Joseph L. Soulier Jr., 18, Gresham, was charged Jan. 27 with one count of driving or operating a vehicle without consent. Kussel set a signature bond of $1,500 and scheduled a status conference for March 7.

• Nicole L. Emery, 40, Keshena, was charged Jan. 27 with one count of possession of methamphetamine and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Kussel set a cash bond of $100 and a signature bond of $1,500. He also scheduled a status conference for March 14.

• Michael J. Thorson, 35, Wittenberg, pleaded no contest Jan. 27 to one count of substantial battery, one count of driving or operating a vehicle without consent and two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. Two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping were dismissed, but read into the record. Kussel sentenced Thorson to six months in jail and three years of probation.
