Conservatives are being shut out

To the editor:

Is anyone who believes in conservative values feeling we are being shut out for our beliefs? If you believe in the rule of law, you are automatically labeled a racist. If you wish to speak about conservative viewpoints such as capitalism at a venue like the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the youthful idiots who are supposed to be being taught the value of free speech will picket, protest and try to shout you down, preventing others from hearing you. What does our governor say about this? Nothing, as he was on board with this behavior.

Why is it, as reported by the Department of Education in Washington, that scholastic scores keep going south when even more money is being poured into the public school system? People like Tony Evers always say we need more money to solve problems. It hasn’t worked so far, so just what makes you think pouring more and more money into the system will make any difference? Do the new school buildings seem to make things better?

Does not teaching our kids about the Revolutionary War and the Civil War make them more informed? Does vilifying Christopher Columbus really tell the whole story or is it just another attempt to alter history to fit a leftist view of the world? Does putting people like Woodrow Wilson on a pedestal help the cause when if you truly look at him with records of what he himself said, he was, without a doubt, a real racist? Look up just who was behind the KKK after reconstruction and who were the politicians behind the Jim Crow laws in the south, and I think you will be in for a shock.

Does the local broadcast news do much better? Well, one easy example would be the testimony of the ambassador who claimed she didn’t give a written list of people not to look into for corruption. What the news people didn’t tell you is she verbally dictated the names to the person from Ukraine she was talking to and he wrote the names down himself. This created a false impression to the viewers and completely changes the narrative, does it not? Look up the real stories and backgrounds of them, and you get a much different picture in many cases.
