Carol J. Conklin

Carol “Jeannie” J. Conklin, 73, of Foxboro, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota. She was born Jan. 6, 1948, in Shawano.

Jeannie worked many years as a baker at the Superior East End Bakery and Walmart bakery.

Her interests included spending time with loved family and friends, crocheting, baking, wolves and all of her many cherished pets, especially her chihuahua, Chichi.

Survivors include her sons, Robert (Kim) Marquette, New Holstein, Bernard (Holly) Conklin Jr., Foxboro, and Andrew (Sandy) Conklin, Little Chute; grandchildren, Morgan, Justin (Beverly), Megan (Tyler), Dylan (Adriel), Brandon, Emily (Mikey), Kenneth and Angela; siblings, Beverly Marquette, Texas, Harry “Pete” (Lynn) Marquette, Lake Geneva, Larry Marquette, Shawano, Jim Marquette, Manitowoc, Donna Lampinen, Neenah, Karen (Arvin) Block, Eagle, Joe Marquette, Mountain, Vicki (Thomas) Wegner, Oconomowoc, and Randy Marquette, Gresham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Bernard Conklin Sr.; second husband, Ronald Danielson; and siblings, Doug, Margie, Mike and Barbara.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the noon service, Saturday, April 24, 2021, at the VFW Post at 204 W. Lieg Ave. in Shawano, with Matt Golie officiating.
