Bucks drop game 1 to Nets

Milwaukee just 6 for 30 on 3-point attempts

The Milwaukee Bucks made just 6 of their 30 3-point attempts and suffered a 115-107 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on June 5 in Brooklyn.

The Nets lost star guard James Harden in the opening minute of the contest and didn't have him for the rest of the game, but the Bucks couldn't capitalize.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 34 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Milwaukee. Brook Lopez scored 19 points. Antetokounmpo was 16 of 24 from the floor, while Lopez made 8 of his 11 shots in the contest.

Jrue Holiday added 17 points, nine rebounds and six assists for Milwaukee, but made just 7 of his 19 shot attempts. Khris Middleton scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds but was only 6 for 23 from the floor.

Milwaukee led 32-30 after one quarter before being outscored 33-29 in the second quarter and 35-23 in the third.

Kevin Durant led a balanced Nets' attack with 29 points, while also grabbing 10 boards. Kyrie Irving posted 25 points and eight assists.

Joe Harris chipped in 19 points, while Blake Griffin had 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Brooklyn made 15 3-pointers in the game.

Game two of the series is June 7 at 6:30 p.m.
