Bucks blown out by Nets in game 2

Milwaukee falls into 2-0 hole

The Milwaukee Bucks were dismantled 125-86 by the Brooklyn Nets in the second game of the team’s Eastern Conference semifinal matchup on June 7 in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn shot 52% from the floor and knocked down 21 2-pointers. The Nets turned the ball over just eight times.

Milwaukee shot 44% from the field, but only made eight 3-pointers while turning the ball over 16 times.

Brooklyn led 36-19 after a quarter and eventually went up 49 points. Milwaukee never led in the contest.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 18 points, while also tallying 11 rebounds and four assists. Khris Middleton added 17 points, but made only 7 of 20 shots.

Bryn Forbes scored 10 points off the bench for Milwaukee. Brook Lopez also scored 10 points.

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving led the Nets, scoring 32 and 22 points, respectively. Joe Harris and Bruce Brown chipped in 13 points each, while Mike James had 10 points off the bench.

The Nets assisted on 27 of their 49 field goals, while the Bucks only had 14 assists on their 37 makes.

The Bucks, down 2-0 in the series, will host game three on June 10. Tip is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. from Fiserv Forum.
