Brett M. Ash

Brett Michael Ash, 24, Oconto Falls, decided to go be with the Lord on Monday, June 21, 2021. He was born April 27, 1997, in Green Bay, the oldest of four children born to Jim and Tracey (Anderson) Ash. We know God will welcome him into open arms and ease his pain. As an infant, he moved to Oconto Falls with his Mom and Dad.

Brett started his athletic career early in elementary school wrestling, playing football and baseball which he continued through high school. He was always near the top of his Class of 2015 academically and in sports. Brett also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends.

Brett was an “old soul” people would say as at an early age, he always enjoyed talking to his older relatives and gaining their knowledge. This continued into adulthood as he was always eager to learn something new. He also enjoyed coaching youth sports and being a volunteer fireman for the Oconto Falls Fire Department. Brett went to diesel mechanics school and worked a few mechanic jobs before purchasing a business in Lena which he was currently running as Ash’s Auto Parts. He knew how to take care of any customer’s need immediately or could quickly figure it out. Brett had many friends in the area, old and young alike, who will miss his quick wit and occasional smile.

Brett leaves behind his parents, Jim and Tracey; two brothers Bryce and Cameron; one sister Taylor; paternal grandparents, Rod and Doris Ash; maternal grandmother, Judith Anderson; aunts, uncles and cousins. Brett will be lovingly remembered as a great son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend who will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Allan Anderson, and uncle Michael Ash.
