Boxing coming to Menominee Casino Resort

Members of the Menominee Indian Boxing Club will be among those stepping into the ring when International Boxing presents Indian Country on Dec. 7 at Menominee Casino Resort, W277 Highway 47-55, Keshena.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m.

The boxing matches will take place in the Five Clans Ballroom at the casino. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Among the participating boxers will be Jerome Lambert, Jason Komanekin Jr., Ben Zelfer and Jeff “Jay” Wright.

Local boxers train at the Menominee Indian Boxing Club at the Menominee Recreation Center on Go Around Road in Keshena.
