Gresham 7

Neopit 6

Gresham earned a tight win over Neopit on July 18 in Gresham.

Nate Ejnik and Joe Ejnik each tallied two hits for Gresham in the winning effort. Lukas Pecore earned the win on the mound.

Raymond White and Walker Miller had two hits each for Neopit. Miller was dealt the loss.

Little Falls 7

Caroline 6

Little Falls moved to 8-1 overall after taking down Caroline on July 18 in Little Falls.

Cam Gruenwald doubled, homered and drove in three runs for Little Falls, while Jenner Gullixon also drove in three runs on two hits. Kasey Morgan led the team with three hits.

Chris Dunn earned the win after striking out 11 batters over seven innings. Carter Kurki worked the other two innings. Bryson Bernarde was dealt the loss.

Aaron Hoffman led Caroline with three hits, while Tyler Marquardt collected two. Neil Hoffman homered for the Cougars.

Marion 8

Tilleda 6

Marion knocked off Tilleda on July 18 in Tilleda.

Caden Jueds had three hits for Marion, while Bryce Huettner and Mitch Elandt had two each. Jaden Stuhr was the winning pitcher.

Zach Fehrman and Kurt Brei posted two hits each for Tilleda, while Alex Sumnicht took the loss on the hill.

Clintonville 22

Leopolis 7 (7 inn.)

Clintonville eased to a lopsided win over Leopolis on July 18 in Clintonville.

Mitch Ebben led Clintonville at the plate with five hits and six RBIs. Jared Cartwright drove in three runs on three hits, while Zac Riemer drove in four runs on two hits.

Jaden Doornink was the winning pitcher, while Tommy Stueck took the loss for Leopolis.

Nate Laude had two hits for Leopolis.

Tigerton 10

Shawano 1

Tigerton picked up a lopsided win over Shawano on July 16 in Tigerton.

Conner Harris had four hits for Tigerton, while Izaiah Hidde had three. Paul Sellner homered among his two hits.

Hayden Harris was the winning pitcher for Tigerton. Jacob Springborn took the loss on the mound.

Shawano tallied just six hits in the game.

Clintonville 5

Marion 3

Clintonville earned a win over Marion on July 16 in Marion.

Jaden Doornink was the winning pitcher, while Jared Sonnenberg took the loss.

Northern Division

Hatley 4

Wittenberg 3

Hatley downed Wittenberg behind a strong start from John Breske on July 18 in Hatley.

Breske struck out 11 batters in a complete game effort. He allowed seven hits and didn’t walk a batter.

Jeremy Schmidt had two of Hatley’s seven hits in the contest.

Preston Bagley had two of Wittenberg’s hits. Dominik Anderson took the loss after pitching six innings.

Elderon 3

Aniwa 2 (13 inn.)

Elderon earned a 13-inning win over Aniwa on July 18 in Elderon.

Casey Kerstner pitched all 13 innings for Elderon and struck out 19 batters. He only allowed four hits.

Kody Szews was dealt the loss on the mound for Aniwa. Jake Thome had two of Aniwa’s hits.

Birnamwood 10

Eland 7 (12 inn.)

Birnamwood picked up a 12-inning road win over Eland on July 18.

Austin Rekow had three hits for Birnamwood, while Erik Steigerwald, Zach Bembenek, Brady Erikson and Shane Herb had two hits each. Bembenek hit a home run for one of his hits, and also earned the win on the mound.

Ryan Richter and Jeremy Jensen collected two hits each for Eland. Jensen was the losing pitcher.

Eland 14

Elderon 7

Eland doubled up Elderon in a makeup game on July 18 in Eland.

Jeremy Jensen, Ryan Richter, Kyle Groshek and Joe Buss all had three hits for Eland. Tyler Nelson added two hits and was the winning pitcher.

Adam Janikowski suffered the loss. Matt Meronk and Justin Meronk had two hits each for Elderon.

South Central Division

Plover 13

Weymont 1

Plover rolled to a win over Weymont on July 18 in Plover.

Jack Kelly led Plover at the plate with three hits and three RBIs. Cam Stampfl and Nate Jackan added two hits each and also walked three times each.

Jake Dreves picked up the win on the hill, while Trevor Wetzel was dealt the loss.

Alex Niles, Justin Christensen and Wetzel had two hits each for Weymont.

Green Lake 17

New London 1 (8 inn.)

Green Lake eased to a victory over New London on July 18 in New London.

Carter Rhode picked up the win after pitching seven innings for Green Lake.

Damien Netzler and Codi Behm had three hits each for Green Lake, while Jared Danke and Gregg Danke had two hits each.

Chevyn Austin was the losing pitcher for New London.
