East-West Division

Leopolis 14

Tilleda 7

Leopolis doubled up Tilleda in a matchup May 23 in Tilleda. Leopolis is now 1-2 overall, while Tilleda dropped to 2-1.

Nick Schoen had three hits and four RBIs to lead Leopolis at the plate. Kasey Kristof also had three hits, while Andrew Kristof, Brandon Laabs, Alex Zimmerman and Ryan Malueg all chipped in two hits.

Laabs struck out 11 batters and picked up the win on the mound.

Landon Kroening suffered the loss for Tilleda. Stephen Reinke posted three hits, while Teagan Lehman and Joel Brei had two hits each.

Clintonville 11

Tigerton 6

Clintonville improved to 3-0 with a win over Tigerton on May 21 in Tigerton.

Jared Carpenter homered among his two hits, while Jared Doornink and Matt Seefeldt added two hits each for Clintonville. Hunter Vollmer was the winning pitcher.

Patrick Bailey was dealt the loss for Tigerton, which is now 0-3 overall. Conner Harris tallied four hits, while Paul Sellner and Pat Provoast each had two hits.

Marion 11

Shawano 6

Marion toppled Shawano in a battle of win-less teams on May 23 in Marion.

Joe Weyenberg, Jake Westphal and Nate Reynolds all had two hits for Marion in the win. Jaden Stuhr picked up the win on the mound.

Mike Korth Sr. recorded three hits for Shawano, while Riley Uttecht had a pair of hits. Jacob Springborn suffered the loss on the hill.

Neopit 9

Gresham 3

Neopit knocked off Gresham in a May 23 battle of 1-1 teams in Neopit.

Walker Miller and Mike Pecore each totaled three hits for Neopit. Alex Peters was the winning pitcher.

Brett Nelson and Chase Quinney each had two hits for Gresham, while Jordan Stichman took the loss on the hill.

Little Falls 11

Caroline 4

Little Falls moved to 3-0 overall after defeating Caroline on May 23 in Caroline.

Chris Dunn struck out 12 batters over seven strong innings to earn the win for Little Falls. Carter Kurki pitched the final two innings.

Hunter Gruenwald had three hits and a home run, while Dunn added a three-run homer to lead the visitors at the plate. Kal Fischer added three hits, while Cam Gruenwald had two hits.

Bryson Bernarde and Justin Reminger each pitched for Caroline, with Bernarde taking the loss. Tyler Marquardt had two hits for Caroline, which fell to 2-1 overall.

Northern Division

Hatley 2

Birnamwood 1

Hatley earned its first win of the season after topping Birnamwood on May 23 in Hatley.

Kyle Zblewski, Jeremy Schmidt and John Breske had Hatley’s three hits in the contest. Breske picked up the win, moving Hatley to 1-2 overall.

Birnamwood slipped to 3-1 after the setback. Erik Steigerwald was dealt the loss on the mound. He joined teammates Shane Herb, Zach Bembenek, Brandon Resch and Jason Rieck as Birnamwood players with hits.

Eland 9

Antigo/Polar 7

Eland edged Antigo/Polar in a May 23 matchup in Antigo. Eland remained perfect, moving to 3-0, while Antigo/Polar dropped to 1-3 overall.

Jared Richter had two hits for Eland, while Ryan Richter was the winning pitcher.

Alex Frisch, Jordan Arrowood, AJ Kirsch and Neil Bretl all posted two hits for Antigo/Polar. Logan Doering was the losing pitcher.

Elderon 16

Wittenberg 2

Elderon rolled to a lopsided win over Wittenberg on May 23 in Elderon. The hosts improved to 2-2, while Wittenberg slipped to 0-3.

Marvin Meronk and Casey Kerstner each homered for Elderon, while Meronk had four total hits. Matt Meronk, Brandon Groshek and Justin Meronk all had three hits, while Troy Leiskau had two hits.

Adam Janikowski earned the win on the mound, while Dominik Anderson was dealt the loss.

Keegan Miller had three of Wittenberg’s hits. Zach Urquardt and Noah Cole had two hits each.

South Central Division

Games between Scandinavia and Green Lake and Plover and New London were postponed due to rain.
