Pulaski High School’s Ella Wiese and Madeline Christenson each earned spots on the Fox River Classic Conference honorable mention team in their senior basketball seasons.

It marks the second straight honorable mention nod for Wiese, while Christenson earned a conference honor for the first time.

“It means a lot to be named all-conference in my final season, especially because my high school basketball journey has not been easy from start to finish — with having one knee surgery when I was a freshman to having another one this past February and missing the last half of my senior season,” said Wiese. “So for me this really means a lot to be all-conference again this year.”

“It means a lot to receive honorable mention for all-conference — as a senior and as my last year ever playing basketball it is such a fulfilling accomplishment.” said Christenson.

Wiese and Christenson led the Red Raiders in scoring this winter.

Wiese also finished in the top 15 in the conference with 2 steals per conference game. She also was in the top 15 in 3-point percentage, finishing at 29.6%.

Christenson was inside the FRCC top 15 in free throw and 3-point percentage. She shot 72.7% from the free-throw line and 29.9% from behind the 3-point line.

Pulaski finished 5-13 in conference play this winter.
