10 Red Raider wrestlers make FRCC teams

Ten Pulaski High School wrestlers made Fox River Classic Conference teams after the team enjoyed another strong conference showing.

Ethan Eggert, Trenton Gibbons, Conner Nooyen and Mason Taylor all made the first team for Pulaski. Will Friedman, Tristan Taylor, Chase Woosencraft, Colin Pratt and Griffin Vanlannen landed on the second team, while Jake Fredrickson was an honorable mention.

Gibbons went 7-0 across his FRCC matches between the 195- and 220-pound weight classes as a senior. Eggert, another senior, was 7-0 between the 120 and 126 weight classes.

Nooyen finished 7-0 in his matches at 126 and 132 pounds as a junior. Mason Taylor, a freshman, finished 6-0 in his matches at 145 and 152 pounds.

Tristan Taylor finished 4-0 at 170 pounds in his senior season to earn a spot on the second team. Friedman went 5-1 between 182 and 195 pounds as a senior.

Pratt and Woosencraft lost just once in FRCC matches as juniors. Pratt was 6-1 at 132 and 138 pounds, while Woosencraft was 5-1 at 170 and 182 pounds. Vanlannen was 6-1 between the 152 and 160 weight classes as a sophomore.

Fredrickson went 5-2 in his matches at 106 and 113 pounds as a sophomore.

Pulaski went 6-1 in FRCC duals to take second place. The team’s lone loss came to Bay Port, the conference champs.
