Geraldine L. “Geri” Prickette, 74, passed away on Sept. 6, 2024, in Shawano.

Geri was born on April 14, 1950, in Brown County to the late Everett C. and Mildred A. (Benson) Thoreson. She graduated from Shawano High School in 1968. After high school, Geri courageously moved to Milwaukee on her own as an independent hearing-impaired young woman. She made a life for herself in the big city and it was there where she met her lifelong friend Linda, with whom she shared many good times and created many lasting memories.

Theresa A. Schulta, 74, Schofield, passed away on Sept. 5, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born May 28, 1950, in Wausau, daughter of the late Joseph and Dolores (Beske) Ogiba. She was united in marriage on April 22, 1972, to Michael A. Schulta in Rothschild. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1996.

John and Corine Kulas, of Galloway, went to their heavenly home, surrounded by family in their home.

Corine died on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024, at the age of 86. John joined Corine on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at the age of 89.

Corine was born on Oct, 18, 1937, in Oshkosh, the daughter of George and Wanda (Billington) Schuster. John was born on July 20, 1935, in the Town of Alban, the son of John Sr. and Katherine (Goskowicz) Kulas.

Marilyn Joan “Mary” Anker, 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Sept. 4, 2024, at her home with her daughter and husband by her side.

Marilyn was born on July 14, 1940, at Shawano Municipal Hospital to the late Oden and Ann (Peterson) Lenning. She graduated from Shawano High School and moved to Plymouth, Michigan, where she studied at a flight school.
