SURING — For the 89th time, the village of Suring is pulling out the stops to celebrate the Labor Day weekend.
From the Friends of the Library book sale that launches Wednesday morning through the big parade Sunday morning, there’ll be plenty of activity in and around Veterans Memorial Park and downtown Suring.
Among the highlights:
- The book sale Wednesday through Saturday at the library, 604 E. Main St., and a rummage sale at Mount Olive Church 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday.
- 4x4 truck pull sanctioned by NEW Motorsports at 7 p.m. Friday.
